Linda is a former elementary school teacher currently raising her three children full time. She has a BS in Elementary Education from Grove City College. Her oldest son has cerebral palsy and is an AAC user. She is passionate about opening doors to communication for her son and for others with complex communication needs.
Chad is the Chief Media Officer for Conversant Media. Mr. Peplinski’s responsibilities for Conversant Media include oversight of business development, media profitability, and operations. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point.

April has two sons, the youngest of which uses an AAC device to communicate. April has seen through her experiences with her son the increased independence and quality of life that comes with an appropriate communication system and proper implementation techniques with a trained Speech-Language Pathologist. April has a bachelors degree in Educational Studies from the University of La Verne and is currently working on her second bachelors in Communicative Disorders and Deaf Education from Utah State University.
As a mother of an AAC user, Joanna feels it is imperative to advocate for, and equip with the proper tools, individuals with complex communication needs. She aligned herself with A Voice Discovered in hopes of using her background in Human Resources (College Recruiting) and Event Planning; combined with, her experience of working in the high technology industry to further the AVD mission to assist with fundraisers and special events. Joanna is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara.
